The restaurant at Dot's Place 1 was an absolute delight. Upon entering, I was greeted by a friendly waiter who guided me to my table. The menu was extensive, offering a variety of mouthwatering dishes that left me spoiled for choice. I opted for their signature steak, and boy, was it cooked to perfection. The tender meat melted in my mouth, accompanied by flavorful sides that complemented the dish beautifully. It was a culinary experience that rivaled even the most renowned steakhouses in the area.

our second stay in carnforth was even better than the first. dot's place 1 exceeded all expectations. the lodge was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed, including games and netflix for a rainy day. the balcony was a great spot to soak up the sun. janet, our host, was excellent and always available to help.
Something small was missing.

Located in a beautiful area, the lodge was spacious and cozy. The swimming pool was a great bonus for families. The beds were comfy and the house was well-maintained and clean. The host was friendly and responsive, providing thoughtful touches like Easter treats. A wonderful place to stay.

The lodge provided a cozy and comfortable stay with extremely comfortable beds and a well-equipped kitchen. The fast WiFi and presence of an Echo Dot with streaming services were a pleasant surprise. The owners were friendly and the lodge was spotlessly clean.
There was nothing we didn't like about our weekend stay. The lodge had everything we needed and the owners were attentive and helpful.

Dot's Place 1 is a wonderful stay with exceptional service and facilities that exceeded our expectations. Janet, the host, provided proactive guidance and was always available to assist. The cozy lodge had fresh flowers, a bottle of white wine, and all the amenities we could ever need. The location is convenient for exploring the Lake District.
We felt incredibly welcome and had no complaints at all.
